EPS consists of regulator and batteries. The regulator is LM1085 IT-adj.
This device can output 3A. All electric devices of Rover exclude the drive motor
are supplied by this regulator.
The consumption current of steering servo of Rover is about 1.2A with the maximum.
And the consumption current of speed controler servo of Rover is about 1.2A with the
maximum, but it is of impulse.
And the consumption current of the other devices is not exceed 0.5A.
So this regulator was chosen.
The drive motor are supplied directly from the battery Rover carries.
The type of battery is High power version RC1500. And Rover carries six. So total
power supply capacity is about 9Ah. The main reason to choose this battery is that
this battery was very cheep.
