camera Subsystem

Cute-1.7 + APD has a still camera to take pictures of the Earth from space. This subsystem offers verification data to other subsystems, for example verification of attitude estimation, tether deployment.

Camera System Block Diagram
Picture data taken by camera formatted to UYVY are acquired by H8, and temporary stored in SRAM. Data are transfered by USB bus to PDA and then compressed to JPG by PDA processing.
