Mission Overview  The mission of the T.I.Tech CanSat#001 is that we make CCD camera rotate in the optional direction by the command from Ground Station, then make CanSat transmit the image of CCD camera to the Ground Station.   A rotation angle of CCD camera is measured by the potentiometer and the rotation angle data is stored in the memory mounted on CanSat.
Experimental Results  The CanSat#001 was launched on 28th July(1st day of ARLISS). But for some trouble, we could not acquire the image of CCD camera and data of the potentiometer. The trouble is shown in the following. @(1)A potentiometer data could not be written into the memory because we had integrated the memory up side down. @(2)There was no performance in receiving the DTMF command, because the power of the tranceiver(DJ-C1) became         OFF by * auto power off function. @(3)The transmitter for CCD image did not function because of a short circuit of line occurred somewhere in the         CanSat.          * auto power off function : The function which automatically makes the power to be OFF, when the communicator does not conduct on the radio wave                over 1 hour transmission and reception. The camera mechanism normally operates in the case of the final adjustment in Stanford University on 26th of July, and the test data got this time is shown in the following. ![]() Final Adjustment of Mechanism in Stanford Univirsity
![]()   Because CCD camera is made to rotate automatically by the program, the potentiometer data fluctuates between ±2V right after the start in the left graph.   Afterwards, we see that the the potentiometer data follows the command from about 50 seconds.   The reason why the measurement data fluctuates from 60 to 100 seconds is because the control program started from the beginning as the result of the power reset by accident, then the camera automatically rotated. To show more detail   The graph which expanded the data from 110 to 160 seconds is shown in the following, so that we may observe the following characteristic of the potentiometer for the command.
The relationship between the rotation angle of CCD camera and the command number of DTMF (#01-#11) is shown in the follwing figure.
