Amateur frequency use

Cute-1.7 + APD II is an amateur satellite and uses amateur frequency. Anyone can listen its signals.

Telemetry Formats

Please refer to CW telemetry format and FM telemetry format.

Frequency and protocol are as shown in the followings.

Uplink (Digipeater)	1267.6MHz	GMSK 9600bps	AX.25/SRLL	Currently only over Japan

• CW beacon: Cute-1.7 + APD II transmits CW beacon at any time to acquire satellite health information
• FM Packet: Packet downlink start in reply to transmit command from operation center at Tokyo Tech or Amateur stations around the world. This packet includes mission data, images taken by satellite, and amateur digipeater messages.
• Digipeater Uplink: When Cute-1.7 + APD II is working in Digipeater mode, Satellite accept amateur messages uploaded using this frequency.
